Ormazabal Switchgear
EPDL are the sole UK distributor for Ormazabal switchgear products and represent Ormazabal in the UK. We have developed a close partnership with this Spanish based company and have assisted in progressing units through EA approval.
Ormazabal offer a wide range of indoor switchgear products in the 12 - 36kV range covering both compact and modular busbar connected systems. Ormazabal is a major European manufacturer with a modern facility Bilbao.
It is important to emphasise that EPDL have extensive experience with this equipment and has a close relationship with Ormazabal. This enables us to provide a high level of support for the product. Indeed, we work with Ormazabal to commission modifications and options specifically for the UK market.
CGM Range
This popular range of indoor cubical switchgear provides a cost effective, reliable modular solution up to 36kV. The switchgear is SF6 filled with circuit breaker duties utilising vacuum interrupters.
The fully insulated 630A busbar system enables fast site erection with no intrusion to the SF6 compartment.
The CGM range complies to all relevant IEC specifications and Kema test certificates are available.
Switch disconnectors, Fuse-switch disconnectors and Circuit breakers form the basic range with a variety of metering cubicles and options to meet most requirements.
